Ronald Waterhouse

Sir Ronald Waterhouse, GBE, QC (8 May 1926 – 8 May 2011)[1] was a retired High Court judge who led a three-year inquiry into the Wales child abuse scandal in the 1990s.[2] Ronald Gough Waterhouse was born in Holywell, Flintshire, Wales, UK. As a judge his highest profile case was when he presided over the acquittal of Ken Dodd on charges of tax evasion.

Sir Ronald Waterhouse died aged 85 on 8 May 2011.
